K: I read about the venues being distributed in three zones. Zhou Min, do you know what those zones are?
ZM: Certainly, they are Beijing proper, Beijing.s Yanqing County, and its neighbouring city Zhangjiakou. Yanqing and Zhanjiakou are located to the northwest of Beijing zone along the Yanshan Mountain Range. They both have favorable air temperature, an average freeze period and snowfall, as well as wind speed; making these two locations ideal for the snow sports competitions of Beijing 2022.
