At Dinghuixili community of Haidian district, our reporter meets an old lady with a red accordion. She is very proud to tell the neighbor that she is going to donate her accordion to students in the mountainous area.

This 68-year-old Xiao used to be a music teacher, the same as Deng Xiaolan does now.

I was a music teacher. I am really moved by Deng Xiaolan’s story that I heard through the radio. Deng Xiaolan andI are of the same age, if she could do so many things for the children, I think I could also do something for them.

Having engaged in music education before, Xiao knows the importance of music for children.

Mr. Dai is from central conservatory of music. He is in another city for a contest when the reporter contacted him, so his students donate two trumpets on behalf of him.
