Carine Chu is Business Development Manager with TRB (Temple Restaurant Beijing). As we learned yesterday, Carine undertook postgraduate study in Scotland at The University of Glasgow's prestigious Adam Smith Business School. Adam Smith is regarded as 'The Father of Economics'.
The ASBS today attracts many students from China attracted not only by its leading academic standards but also the idea of studying in an environment surrounded by history. They were also attracted by Glasgow city itself.
Carine explains why she was very satisfied by the level of teaching she received and by the resources for study within the school and the university. Academic staff came from a variety of backgrounds and countries. She talks about some of the various teaching experiences and of some differences between studying in China.
Carine has a passion for business and wanted to learn more about marketing, particularly forecasting future trends.
