Located in Sanlitun - Beijing's premier shopping and dining location, the Opposite House Hotel since its opening in 2008 has brought new trends in hospitality to the city. It has become a major destination for people wanting a casual but highly professional hotel experience. In today's concluding feature with General Manager Peter Wynne, we learn more about the bamboo bikes the hotel has bought for customer leisure time.
Peter is a keen cyclist and believes this promotion can go towards healthier lifestyles. He talks of the close relationship developed with Bamboo Bikes Beijing. Peter recently took a bike down to a travel agent's convention in Hong Kong. Although cycling is difficult on Hong Kong Island it is actively being promoted in areas such as the New Territories.
They go on to discuss recent developments at the Opposite House including the growing popularity of the outdoor Bao House food truck with its innovative Baozi creations.
