Paul is a college student. He is a freshman and majors in computer science. He often says that he wants to be a computer engineer. However, his father wants him to be a doctor, but Paul is not interested in being a doctor at all. He confesses that he'll probably faint when he sees blood. He doesn't know what he can do to change his father's mind.

He came to me for advice yesterday since I am his best friend. I simply told him that he should pursue his own interests. I also said that life will be joyful and meaningful if one enjoys what he is doing. He agreed with me and determined that he wants to be a computer engineer as his career.

Most people know that English is an international language and that a good command of English enables you to find a good job. However, they don't know what they should do to learn English well. They simply try hard to memorize new words orgrammar rules. Somehow, they forget all the words and grammar rules the nextday. Eventually, they give up learning. What a pity!
